The Delta Chapter is proud to be an active part of the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) masters program at the University of South Carolina. We are dedicated to providing opportunities that allow our members, our fellow classmates, and the USC community to engage with Chi Sigma Alpha’s three pillars: academics, research, and service to the profession of Student Affairs. Some of our favorite programs include:

 

• Brown Bag Lunch Series - a series of lunchtime professional development opportunities that feature a variety of speakers and topics

• HESA Orientation Event – an event held each August for the new HESA students to mingle with Chi Sigma Alpha membership and learn about the society​

• Yearly Excellence Awards – our chapter partners with the Student Personnel Association to put on the yearly awards banquet, “SPAnquet.” The society awards The Pillar Awards to one outstanding first year student and one outstanding second year student, and we co-sponsor faculty and staff awards along with SPA.
