Sigma Chapter
University of North Carolina Greensboro
ABOUT
The Sigma Chapter of Chi Sigma Alpha was founded on February 11, 2015 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. We are dedicated to upholding the society's 3 values as well as our genuine responsibility to positively impact UNCG and the surrounding Greensboro area.
Our biggest highlight this past year was...
This year we were able to host a virtual inter-chapter mixer! The idea to connect with people across locations was formulated due to the surge of online experiences that our members have participated in. There was representation from 3 different chapters all from different states! It was a fun way to expand our networks in a safe and fun manner!

We serve as one of two premiere organizations for University of North Carolina Greensboro's M.Ed. program in Higher Education, concentration in Student Affairs Administration (SAAHE). Our goal is to provide space and advocate for equitable professional development and transformational change within the field of student affairs. We program throughout the year and, in alignment with our goal, host several events such as:
-
Virtual Inter-chapter Mixers, which allows members and advisors to connect and grow their networks beyond geographic limitations
-
Pie-A-Chi, which is a fundraising event to promote fellowship among program members and collect donated food items for local pantries in the Greensboro area
-
XSA Internship Scholarship, which makes pursuing internships with professional organizations such as ACUHO_I and NODA more economically equitable
-
Virtual Research Symposium, which gives students the opportunity to showcase their research interests and progress on projects in preparation for future presentations and conferences
